About us

A Wigan CIC building work that gives back.

We're The Cross Community Network — a non-profit Community Interest Company combining creativity, technology and storytelling to help businesses, organisations and communities stand out.

Our story

Professional services. Community impact. Lasting stories.

We started TCCN because Wigan has more talent, history and heart than it usually gets credit for — and because the people doing the quiet, important work often go unseen. From websites and media production to drone services and digital solutions, we deliver work that makes an impact, and every project helps us give something back.

Our team brings together designers, makers, pilots, inspectors and storytellers. We work with businesses and organisations who want their projects to mean more, and with community groups who deserve the same standard of craft as anyone else.

As a CIC, we're locked in: profits return to community initiatives and local heritage across Wigan. We also partner with selected charities, including Blythswood, so impact reaches beyond our own four walls.

Community first

Every penny of profit funds the community programmes you'll find on our Drone Services page.

Honest craft

Plain-English quotes, fair timelines, work we'd put our name to — because we do.

People we walk with

Carers, SEND families, makers, small business owners and neighbours across Wigan.

Creative + technical

We blend design, storytelling and technology so good ideas travel further.

Why we do this

We work with people the system rushes past.

We provide a service to members of the community who live with mental health conditions, chronic illness and disabilities — giving them a place to share their views, shape what we do, and be heard. We work hand-in-hand with their carers, because looking after someone you love is heavy work that often goes unseen.

As a non-profit Community Interest Company, every penny of profit from our design, course and inspection work returns to this mission. We also partner with selected charities including Blythswood, so the impact reaches further than our own four walls.
